Paul Manz
Lead Guitar, Backup Vocals

Over the years we have had a serious turnover rate with lead guitarists. Like a broken record, we have heard all the jargon, and fast talk about 'being a team player, keeping the amp turned down low, and loving to 'blend' with other musicians.'

So, we decided to do an extensive background check on our newest member Paul Manz.
We knew we wanted to do a serious check, but as usual we were on a tight budget. So we headed over to eTruth.com, The Background Check Superstore! These guys are extremely thorough.
At peacefield.info we rely on only the best in background checking services. Here is what they have returned to us thus far:
- Born in Sacramento, CA
- Father's broad musical tastes inspired me to play music (Classical, Buck Owens, Beatles, CCR)
- Lived in FL, Germany, TX, AZ, and VA growing up
- Began playing guitar at 8 yrs old
- First guitar had terrible action, too high. Father tried to fix it but planed the wrong side of the neck, and made it worse!
- First electric guitar purchased for $35 - a Sorrento strat-style guitar with chrome pick guard and pick-ups
- First amp was a Heathkit home stereo amp with a Radio Shack speaker - home built
- In high school, played in band called Stainless Steel - named for drummer's "stainless" set of Ludwig drums
- Inspired by Phil Keaggy (concert in Wash DC) when he 18 yrs old to play guitar seriously
- Developed musically by playing gospel music
- Favorite guitarists are Eric Johnson, Dann Huff, Chris Davis, Tommy Emmanuel
