Jesse Cravens
Bass Player, Vocals

Jesse learned to play bass on an old washtub at the age of 3. He was taught by the late Fritz Richmond's brother Larry. An ethno musicologist by study, Jesse has traced the origins of the instrument to the 'ground harp' - a version that uses a piece of bark or an animal skin stretched over a pit as a resonator.
Not long after grade school, Jesse began building wasthub basses and outfitting them with Atari 2600 6507 8-bit microprocessors. He has continued to perfect the art and sells his creations on eBay, while moonlighting as a JavaScript developer.
Most of the time short for words, Jesse plays bass. When he does speak, its usually rather abrasively about his opposition to anthropocentrism (sometimes mischaracterized as misanthropy).
Which...we must be careful to not mistake this for what it is: a semi-obvious act of deception. In reality, he is very much a people person.
Jesse has written a few songs merely to "entertain and amuse," and the jingles are typically intended as some sort of symbolic satire. His latest: A Story of a Moonshiner led astray by his fascination with the Fedora 7 Linux distribution codenamed Moonshine.
